Our family has holidayed in Cornwall for many years and in 2017 we took the plunge and bought our own cottage . We have since fully refurbished the property and are keen to share our pet-friendly home with like minded people who also love this special part of the world.
We have had a lovely stay in your adorable cottage, every home comfort imaginable so Thank you
Can I say your cottage is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, very well equipped and is located in such a quiet idyllic location that allows easy access to both north and south coasts of Cornwall.
We are so pleased to be here.
Thank you
Your cottage is absolutely stunning and a real home from home. You have considered every detail for those staying, and have real attention to detail.
We had a wonderful holiday, the cottage is perfectly located to visit so many places.
The cottage is exceptionally clean and maintained with the comfiest beds! We loved our stay, and we will definitely return in the future.
This was our only grandchild’s, who is 8 months old, first holiday with three generations of family, and it suited everyone.
The cottage was beautiful, clean and spacious, truly home from home it had everything we needed. Our only regret was that we didn’t book for longer. We had a special time and made amazing memories. Thank you.
It was our second time at Thatchview Cottage and it was like coming home. It's the perfect cosy setting to finish a day of exploring around Cornwall. The bed is super comfy, kitchen is better equipped than my own and it's always super clean. I'd come back again.
Thatchview Cottage is a real gem hidden in a quiet hamlet but perfectly located to easily visit both the North and South Coasts as well as the breathtaking scenery of Bodmin Moor. We had a wonderful time exploring and it was always a pleasure to return to the comforts of the cottage that really felt like home away from home. The cottage was very clean and really well appointed. We all had an extremely comfortable and enjoyable stay, would highly recommend. Thank you for having us, The Becks.
May half term spent at the cottage 3 adults one child one dog plenty of room luxury fixtures and fittings kitchen amazingly equipped including an aga which was fun to use. Exceptionally clean and lovely bedding and fluffy white towels. Garden space a bonus and a sun trap. Peaceful location but not far from Looe, Polperro , Fowey which we loved also Seaton Beach 12 mins away pretty and great for dogs. Great communication with Hilary and Patrick. Will definitely be coming back.
We had a fabulous week in Cornwall and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thatchview Cottage. A great location to allow easy exploring of the South and West coasts of Cornwall. This dog friendly accommodation is top notch and very comfortable with lots of nice touches. It's great to come back to after a long day's walking to enjoy a small drink or two outside in the evening sun or even a fire in the wood burner for cooler nights. It was lovely to stay in such well furnished and clean accommodation. Definitely one to be recommended.
What a lovely cottage, beautifully clean and well equipped. The week was just what we needed as a family with our Goldador Barney. The cottage is very well placed to visit the local area, particularly Seaton Beach. Can recommend the Fat Frog Cafe in Liskeard for a lovely breakfast. We will definitely be back. Thank you Patrick
We had really wonderful trip to Cornwall based at Thatchview Cottage late August/early September 2021. The cottage was sparkling clean, extremely well equipped and very comfortable. Communication with the owner, Patrick, could not have been easier, the neighbours were friendly and knowledgeable about the hamlet and we felt very welcome. Would happily return for another holiday.
We are just home from a lovely holiday in the beautiful village of Trevelmond, staying at the most charming cottage called Thatchview. The village and the locals were absolutely charming and we just loved it.
The cottage was so clean and comfortable and extremely well equipped. The lounge was just so homely to come home to after a day spent sightseeing.
The kitchen was surprisingly roomy and catered for all our needs. We spent a few evenings sitting round the kitchen table in front of the cosy Aga sharing a lovely meal and a nice bolls glass of wine from the dinky wee wine cooler.
Upstairs was roomy and the beds were very clean and comfortable.
Trevelmonde is a tiny wee village and is ideally situated for sightseeing and touring Cornwall.
I couldn’t fault anything and would highly recommend anyone thinking of booking to go ahead - you will not be disappointed.
We stayed at Thatchview in May/June 2021 over half term. The location was absolutely perfect for the school holidays - the village was very quiet but within 5 minutes of the shops at Liskeard and about 20minutes from the south coast. We were able to relax and allow our two dogs to roam up to the garden without worry of being too near any roads - the cottage is situated at the end of a small lane. The residents surrounding the cottage were all very friendly and welcoming too.
We travelled with our one year old, were very pleased with the third single bedroom which had plenty of room for the cot as did the master bedroom. The bedrooms were a lovely size and the beds very comfortable.
We arrived late at night and were so grateful for a little welcome hamper, even including treats for the dogs! The bottle of Prosecco was very welcomed!
The kitchen was very well equipped we had absolutely everything we could have needed provided.
The refurbishment was stunning - the whole cottage is beautiful and we felt instantly at home.
We can’t wait to come back!
